NCHR Receives Delegation from the U.S. Embassy in Cairo

The National Council for Human Rights (NCHR) received a delegation from the U.S. Embassy in Cairo, headed by Ms. Kadidiatou Magassa, Human Rights Officer at the Embassy’s Political Section, at the Council’s headquarters in New Cairo. The meeting was attended by a number of NCHR board members, as well as the Acting Secretary-General of NCHR.

The meeting discussed the NCHR’s various activities and initiatives aimed at promoting and protecting human rights since its new composition was established, as well as ways to enhance cooperation and exchange expertise between the two sides in relevant areas.
